Sunday Deadline to Register at Lowest Marathon Entry Fee
Skiers have until midnight on Sunday, November 30 to lock in the lowest entry fee for the 30th annual Craftsbury Marathon, as the price jumps on the 1st! If you haven't registered already, take a break from your holiday festivities, head over to SkiReg and sign up now! You'll save money and be able to relax knowing that you've locked in your entry.

What is this new Recreation Wave in the Marathon?
The Rec Wave is a timed class with a more relaxed start. Any gender, age group, or distance can opt in to this unseeded wave, making it the perfect option for families who want to ski together this Marathon. Rec Wave racers will test themselves with either the 25 or 50k course, though we stress that anyone undertaking the 50k - even recreationally - should be very fit and able to complete the course in under 6 hours.

So, is this what used to be the Tour? No, the Tour is now a separate event on March 5th. The popular, untimed, point-to-point event with gourmet food stops has become even more alluring with the move to the generally warmer March date.

You can register for the Recreation Wave as part of the Marathon registration here, and you'll find the Tour registration online here.

Hard at (Trail)work
Lots of trail projects have been underway all summer, but Eric and his team are still at it! One big project that recently wrapped up is the Highland Lodge Connector Trail that is used as part of the Tour. The trails look phenomenal - even with some new cairns along the side as Keith pursues excavator art! Read more about the exciting work.
