Kimberly Howell, Massage Therapist

Kimberly has been practicing massage full-time since 1994. Like most therapists, her initial training was in Swedish massage techniques. Over the course of 1997-98, she trained extensively in myofascial spreading and Structural Integration, a deep-tissue modality that aims to release tension in the fascia and restore the musculature's natural length and plasticity.
She is currently working toward certification in orthopedic massage. She has worked with clients ranging from children to octogenarians, from expectant mothers to elite athletes. In short, whether you are looking for an opportunity to have a relaxing massage that will put you to sleep or to have the fascia of your subscapularis muscle released from the surrounding tissues, she can probably accommodate you. She works as lightly or as deeply as you care for - just ask. Please visit the Center's office to schedule your appointment.
Rates: 1/2 hr.-$40, 1 hr.-$70, 1 1/2 hr.-$100
Jackie Scribner, Massage Therapist

Jackie began her massage therapy training at a local community college, and then continued with Green Mt. Institute of Integrative Therapy, where she became a certified massage therapist. She began practicing Integrative massage in 2009, and maintains her private practice in a home studio.
Integrative Massage combines several body work techniques, including swedish massage, acupressure, myo-fascial release techniques, and polarity, working as lightly or deeply as you choose. Physically, Integrative Massage releases muscle tension, increasing circulation and improving muscle tone. This creates a feeling of lightness and space in the body and encourages ease of movement. Energetically, this technique balances and releases blocked energy, freeing the flow within the body. Emotionally, as tension softens and energy flows, a clear sense of consciousness, a renewed awareness of inner joy, and a greater capacity for genuine contact can emerge.
She is currently training in Body Centered Therapy, a cranial-sacral based practice furthering the integrative approach. She saw the opportunity to broaden her practice here at Craftsbury Outdoor Center, and looks forward to working with you. Please visit the office to schedule an appointment.
